LJX-PT Rotary Joints

The LJX-PT rotary joint is designed for critical steam-heated rolls on corrugator single facers.

The LJX-PT rotary joint maintains alignment over time by utilizing large diameter, rigid support rods. To ensure the rods are well-secured, sleeves are inserted through the body lugs, minimizing lug-hole wear found in conventional rod-supported rotary joints.

The LJX-PT rotary joint incorporates Kadant Johnson’s SecureLock™ retention plate and proprietary balanced seal. This robust combination secures the syphon in place, maintaining syphon clearance while enabling longer operating life and increased equipment reliability. The piston type design provides reduced seal loading and increased seal life at higher speeds. The LJX-PT rotary joint is rated up to 400°F (204°C), 200 psi (13.8 bar), and 400 rpm.
