The LJX-PT rotary joint is designed for steam-heated rolls on corrugator single facers that fail to maintain rotary joint alignment and syphon clearance due to high-speed vibration.
The LJX-PT rotary joint utilizes large diameter, rigid support rods to maintain rotary joint alignment over time. The heavy-duty support rods counteract the torque applied to the rotary joint from the high-speed rolls. To ensure the rods are well-secured, sleeves are inserted through the body lugs, minimizing lug-hole wear that can be found in conventional rod-supported rotary joints.
The LJX-PT rotary joint features a SecureLock™ retention plate to ensure proper syphon integration and syphon clearance in high-speed and high-vibration corrugating environments. Its durable design securely holds the syphon in place within the rotary joint and roll, preventing any movement and enabling effective condensate removal under demanding operating conditions. The LJX-PT rotary joint is rated up to 400°F (204°C), 200 psi (13.8 bar), and 400 rpm.
