Kadant South America, formally known as CBTI, was acquired by Kadant in April 2013 and merged with Kadant Johnson Latin America which was founded in 2001 in São Paulo, Brazil. Our company, based in Valinhos near the industrial city of Campinas in Brazil, provides services and applications expertise along with the design and manufacturing of products that play an essential role in improving process efficiency, optimizing energy use, and maximizing productivity in resource-intensive sectors. Our main product lines include:
- Fluid handling products and systems that transfer fluid, power, and data between fixed piping and rotating components
- Roll doctoring and scraping products that clean roll surfaces
- Cleaning and filtration systems that clean fabrics and filter and recycle process water
- Fiber processing systems for recovering recycled fibers and processing virgin fibers
The fluid handling products offered to the South American market include rotary joints, precision unions, and fluid handling systems to process industries used to optimize the transfer of power, fluid, and data in rotary sealing applications. In addition to rotary joints and unions, Kadant South America manufacturers syphons, thermocompressors, desuperheaters, steam systems, and steam system controls.

Sales and services throughout South America are supported through a network of reps and distribution located in Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Peru, Colombia, Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
