Standard Rotary Joints & Rotary Unions
A rotary joint, also referred to as a rotary union or rotating union, is a rotary sealing device that connects rotating equipment to fixed piping for the transfer of steam, water, thermal oil, coolant, hydraulic oil, air, and other media.
We invented the rotary pressure joint in 1930. Since then, we have incorporated advances in sealing technology from carbon pressure seals to balanced seals and DuraSeal™ sealing technology. Rotary joint design and materials have evolved as well to extend the application range and service life of the conventional pressure-type rotary joint.
